Sym has been sick the poor angel. She has had what seems to be a really bad cold with a fever since Monday. DH took her to the doc today and they said that it isn't anything but a really bad cold. No meds just give her fluids and let her sleep. No problem the poor dear really has been sleeping alot too!
She also lost her two front teeth! The first one she lost Friday at school. The nurse gave her a cool tooth necklace to put it in. I thought that was pretty awesome! Free gift with pain. It made it quite easy for the tooth fairy Friday night however when Sym awoke Saturday morning, the tooth fairy didn't come! OOps! Maybe she had a wreck on her way to our place? Needless to say the tooth fairy arrived Saturday night and left Sym a whopping $3.00!! Damn she's nice! I guess she was trying to make up for the night before perhaps. Here's Sym's pic from Friday!
Last night, Sym of course was sick. I had awoken her for dinner. She was eating her pork tenderloin when all of a sudden her second front tooth started bleeding! She runs up to me and said "Mommy, my tooth is bleeding" With those almost panic stricken hazel eyes gazing at me. I told her "There's nothing I can do about it." DH interjected with "Go ahead an pull it out. You pulled the other ones yourself and it didn't hurt right? Get it over and done with."
She turned her back to us. Now I don't know what the deal is with my squimishness, these kinds of things used to not bother me. Now they do! I looked over at DH and he looked at me and we both had that "Eww gross" look on our faces. Then sure enough the girl pulled her tooth out!
She put the tooth under her pillow and this morning she awoke another 3 dollars richer! They are after all the 2 front teeth.
I was hoping that she'd keep them until after my sister's wedding Saturday but oh well! She's so cute that she'll pull it off! Snaggled Sym the "Ring Barrier!" Here she is in all her adorable snaggled glory!
Since she has been sick her voice has become a bit scratchy and now she has a little lisp thing when she speaks. She is just too adorable though! I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast!!
Tank Girl is swingin in full affect! I've knit about 8 1/2 inches on it so far since sunday. Man purl stitches slow me down! Yes! I'm using my knitpicks options needles too! I absolutely adore them!
Bonnaroo is just around the corner! The tickets go on sale this friday and I SOOO can't wait!! I'm gonna have a blast! I just know it!!! Tool, The White Stripes, WEEN!, DJ Shadow! OH I'm sooooo excited!!!
Tonight I'm nabbing some tule for my sister's Bachlorette Hat. I'm gonna tie little penises(peni?) and other little party favors just for the hell of it! he he he The party is tomorrow night and I can't wait! I'm taking Friday off to recover. So exciting! I can't wait to get my drink on!!
