Okay so I have 86'd the tank. :( I just can not get into it nor get it right. I'm too much of a perfectionist. So I've started this baby sweater. It came from my stash that has been just sitting on the rack for 3 months. Shame on me! This 100% acrylic yarn is very soft and lofty to work with. It is Bernat Softee Baby yarn. This hooded baby sweater is knit in a seed stitch. I'm currently makeing it 6mo size and the pattern that I am using is came with the yarn. So I'm not totally ditching the need to knit something in a seed stitch by ditching the yarn for my tank top. I'm almost finished with the hooded baby sweater. I'll post the pic once I've completed it. It will be the first time I've ever knitted a garment. Go me!!
Cheers!!

Still Tweeking the blog
I've been tweeking tonight. I figure it was about time to try my damnedest to remember my coding. If you become a reader I gaurentee you that you will see a new layout almost every time. My tank is currently on hold until I finish a last minute birthday shawl for my grandmother. Damn my procrastination!
Cheers all!
Cheers all!

Got the yarn but........

I've encountered a problem with my new project, the yarn I bought. Silly me decided at the spurr of the moment to buy the yarn that was on sale instead of the same fiber content of the yarn in the pattern. So ........... Here is a pic of the yarn. Bare with the pic I took it with my camera phone at work. LOL. This is a very strange almost delicate yarn. The original pattern for Razor back needs a Nylon stretchy yarn & here I went & bought this yarn just because it was on sale. I can make it work though. I'm just doing the largest size in the pattern. Blah ha ha! I love novelty yarns like this, but it has been a challenge even when I was making the swatch! LOL Well back to work folks! Let me know what you think!

New Project!!!!!
Here it is my new knitting project!!!!
http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTxback.html
I'm on the look out for the yarn now. I've got to knit me a tank! I am very excited. I've never worked with ribbon yarn before but I have worked with different novelty yarns so I don't think it will be too challenging.
My to do list:
1. Buy the Yarn-- Getting it today at my LYS
2. Need the needles too (my circular collection sucks! I need to ebay it and get some denise interchangeables!)
3. Start the knitting tonight!!!!!!
4. Buy a bottle of wine-- I love sipping on a good chardonney when I'm knitting.
Yay!! Okay back to work.
